Tokyo Consulting Group was established in 1998 by Mr. Yasunari Kuno, a Japanese Certified Public Accountant and former employee of PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC) Japan. Today, Tokyo Consulting Group is among the few Japanese international accounting companies to remain successful in Japan and abroad. Tokyo Consulting Group has over 300 employees, most of which are located in our four Japanese branches: Tokyo (HQ), Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka.

Our mission is to enhance our clients' business through the incorporation of our services. Our main services in Japan are book keeping, accounting, audit, tax, labor & human resources (social insurance and payroll), as well as outsourcing. Furthermore, we provide consulting and advising services in various types of businesses and industries for foreign and prospective entities wishing to establish their business in Japan. Yasunari Kuno

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Kuno joined Aoyama Audit Corporation (PriceWaterhouse Coopers) at the Audit Department (now Arata Audit Corporation PwC). Initially, he was responsible for Securities Exchange Law and Commercial Law Auditing for Public Companies, and Voluntary Audit for foreign companies. He then continued his career as IPO and Management consultant, before leaving his positions in 1998 to establish Kuno Yasunari CPA Firm. He is now President of Tokyo Tax Accountant Corporation, President of Kuno Yasunari CPA Firm, President and CEO of Jinzai Kaihatsu Co., Ltd., President of Tokyo Consulting Firm Co., Ltd., CPA and Tax Accountant, and Certified member of The Security Analysts Association of Japan.
Eiichi Kataoka

Eiichi Kataoka


Mr. Kataoka began his professional experience at KPMG Mexico. He started as an auditor of numerous American and European companies. Later in his career at KPMG, he joined the Japanese practice, a special practice dedicated to accompany Japanese companies entering the Mexican market. He has been involved in numerous audits, tax, and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) projects. During his stay at KPMG, he contributed to the improvement of diverse practices with his skills and language abilities that include Japanese, Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Mr. Kataoka is currently in charge of the M&A and Venture Capital markets at Tokyo Consulting Group, where he has been promoting sales and acquisitions opportunities to Japanese and international clients. The cross-border M&A practice he implemented has become one the most successful within Tokyo Consulting Group.
Simon Tilly

Simon Tilly


Upon completion of secondary education in his home country of France, Mr. Tilly pursued an academic education in New York (United States), through which he acquired and demonstrated versatility in technological fields, with a specialty in Software Engineering. After university, he decided to settle in Japan to further his horizons and global knowledge, offering him extremely valuable assets in intercultural communication in addition to technical knowledge. He speaks French and English at a native level, in addition to being fluent in Italian. Since joining Tokyo Consulting Group, Mr. Tilly has played a key role in the online development strategy of the company, in addition to his responsibility for interlingual secretarial tasks.
